Camp out with the scouts

Last weekend Andrew and I spent the night with his cub scout pack at Camp Tahuaya in Belton.  We had a good time out there.  Andrew really loves camping.  There was a little while when it reminded me of Lord of the Flies and I was scared for my health and safety, but bedtime came soon enough.

Our home for the evening:

 Even thought it's about 25 years old and we were concerned about its capability in the rain, we survived the mist and dew.  I wouldn't trust it in an actual rainfall, though.
