We have this wonderful bakery in town called What About Cupcakes?. They only sell cupcakes. No full cakes, no pancakes, no funnel cakes, just cupcakes. The boys love them. So much that they both recognize the box whenever someone brings them home.
(Although the boys love these cupcakes, I think the true addict has to be Liz ... and you should see her after she devours one!)

Mmm. Fun Dip
Do you remember those treats with the sugar stick and the flavored powder you dipped it in? I do. I also remember that they didn't taste as good as I thought they should. No matter, Andrew thinks that they are wonderful fashion accessories.

Nice hat and tomato
Matthew has been obsessed with my hat lately. He loves hats and is always taking mine and running around with it.
Speaking of running around, Liz took the boys to the one of the local gardening stores to get her raised garden up and running this year. They picked up a bunch of different stuff -- cucumbers, sunflowers, green beans, tomatoes, cilantro, etc. Matthew found the "Charlie Brown" of tomato plants and fell in love. He walked around the whole store, carrying this plant. After they got home, he kept pointing to it, saying, "Matthew's 'mato." Still, to this day, he'll point to it in the garden and claim it. Watch this one be the only one that fruits.

Andrew complained
He complained about me taking too many photos of Matthew. I assured him that he is not lacking in that department and then asked to take his picture. This is what I got.

Boy, are all 2 year olds ADD?
First he's having a blast with mom, then he's distracted by a pebble on the driveway. I love how 2 year olds are so easily distrac -- oh, squirrel!

Why doesn't this seem like a good itdea to me?
Matthew was playing in the backyard, having a good time drawing on the patio with chalk, when it suddenly struck him.

A Big Boy Bed
Liz and I (well, mostly me) have been contemplating converting Matthew's bed for some time, but we were convinced that Andrew hadn't moved until he was closer to three. Regardless, I decided the other day just to do it. After I did so, I looked on the blog and found out that Andrew was in a toddler bed before he was two. Oh, well, one more thing for Matthew to complain to his therapist about.
