Whew! What a busy start to the long weekend. On Saturday, Andrew had a soccer game, a cub scout trip, and we headed out to the camp site. Here are a couple photos from the cub scout trip, the soccer game pics are forthcoming.
About 20 miles north of us is the Kaska Family Farm. They call themselves an "agri-tourism" destination and we met a couple of people there who had made the trek from outside the area just to visit. It was a pretty cool little farm amusement park, for lack of a better term. They had hay bales to climb on, an air cannon to shoot, 2 hay rides, and, the star of the show, a maze plowed into their corn field. We spent about a half-hour wending our way through that maze for a total of about a mile. The scouts had fun and the adults got to laugh at their orienteering skills.
Here's a link to a Google map, but it doesn't show too much detail. I'll try to find something with a finer display.
Update: Here's an image of our track through the maze.
