He's going to hurt himself someday

Matthew has taken to some advanced gymnastics whenever you hold him these days. If you support him by his shoulder blades, he'll toss his head back until he's upside down and just giggle until you laugh. It's cute when you expect it; dangerous when you don't.

Notice a theme?

Andrew is totally done with my pictures. He got mad at me today and told me to put the camera away. These were from the same day as the previous photos. He wasn't interested then, either. Then Cooper stepped on him.

Living room photos

We were having a lovely photo session in the living room until Cooper intervened. And then he did something really funny.

Goofing around with foam blocks

You get all kinds of cool stuff in the mail when you work in a lab. Quite some time ago we had to ship out our autoclave for repair. When it was returned to us, the box was filled with these brick-sized foam blocks. Well, I took one look at them and immediately thought about how cool they would be at home.

Andrew has made castles, houses, bridges, robots, and now, a bed out of these blocks.

Andrew's pics

Time for another installment. I apologize for some of the quality. The batteries were low, so the flash didn't go off. He doesn't care, though. He just likes to take pictures.

I feel honored.

This is way more praise than we deserve. We're trying to figure it out just like everyone else out there.

Mommy's Little Monster not crawling

He's almost there, but not quite. He still manages to get into everything, though. That would be the reason we call him "Monster."
