More studio-play

I finally got something presentable out of Andrew! Who knew that having him look right into the light could make him stop blinking?

We finally made it out for a run again

After about 2 months, Matthew and I finally made it out for a run. The run wasn't great; almost as if I'd taken some serious time off. Matthew fell asleep in the stroller and took a little while to wake up, even after playing at the park. He finally shook himself alert and had fun, though.

Goofball

I think we're going to change Andrew's name to Earl. For those of you who never watched it, there was a show on TV (I think it ended last season) called "My Name Is Earl."  The main character could never keep his eyes open for the camera.  In every single photograph shown of Earl, from the time he was a baby through his adulthood, his eyes were in some state of closure.  Andrew seems to be afflicted with the same disease.

In order to prepare him for the lights to flash and get him relaxed in front of the camera, I asked him to make a goofy face while I shot, hoping to catch not only the goofiness, but a shot immediately after with an expression a little sweeter.  Well, here's the best that I got:

Matthew under the lights

In order to relax the kids in front of the camera the other day, I gave them a each a balloon to play with.  It didn't work for Andrew; he still got wonky in front of the lens.  It didn't work for Matthew; he wouldn't stay still in front of the lens.

Liz finished 'em!

Liz decided after Andrew was born that since her mom made her Christmas stocking and my mom made mine, she would make the kids' stockings. All are very special to us and I think the kids will really grow to appreciate theirs.

Andrew's Pics from the last couple months

Andrew had fun with his camera over the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. I waited until he was artistically done before I posted the images.

I have no idea who these people are. They were very nice to the boys, though. They didn't even seem to mind having their photo taken by a 5 year old.

The other day, he wanted a family portrait, so he directed everyone to stand near fish tank and took this one. I was so proud!

Again, more catch-up

One evening when I got home from work, the boys were in the backyard (as they often are). I had purchased two sets of antlers for them to wear, but only Matthew would stand for a photo shoot at the time.

Andrew was too busy riding his truck down the hill in the backyard.
