Your central location for information on Andrew, Matthew, and the occasional brilliant thought on my mind late at night.
We surprised Mom today by making a cake. I made the icing while Andrew ate lunch. What better for dessert than a spatula covered in chocolate cream cheese icing?
Unfortunately, we made the cake while Mom was at work, so no one was able to get pictures of him helping me make the batter. He dumped all the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and counted all the ingredients that he couldn't dump. I don't know how I would have done it without him.
What better for appetizer than cleaning out a bowl full of chocolate cream cheese icing?
The final result. Yummy!
The other day, Liz went to the local seed store to buy more bird food for the feeders out in front of the house. While they were there, Andrew just bounced all over the place talking about the birds. The owner of the store must have been enamored with him, because he pulled these binoculars out and handed them to Liz, telling her that he'd been waiting for the right person to come in the store so he could give them away. We pulled them out of the package on Sunday and found out that they aren't bad binoculars. We expected cheap opera glasses or something. It's obvious that they aren't valued in the thousands of dollars, they aren't the dollar store variety either.
