Hey, he asked....
I had the lights set up in the studio and Matthew asked for me to take his photo. Andrew hates it now, but Matthew still likes to have his photo taken.

Pumpkin carving
I know I'm behind by about a week. So shoot me. Or stab me with a kitchen knife and carve a smiley face into my supple flesh.

They are so cute when they're still
I have to say, the boys are great together. They get along, they play well, and we rarely have fights or even arguments. It's just rare that they sit still. Ever.

We found it!
Yep, this is actually a geocache. They don't always look like this. Some are just plastic containers, some are military surplus containers, some are plastic ducks wrapped in camouflage tape. You never knew what you're going to get.

Geocaching
We also recently went geocaching. For those of you who don't know, it's kind of like a treasure hunt using GPS coordinates. Check it out at Geocaching.org .

Camp out with the scouts
Last weekend Andrew and I spent the night with his cub scout pack at Camp Tahuaya in Belton. We had a good time out there. Andrew really loves camping. There was a little while when it reminded me of Lord of the Flies and I was scared for my health and safety, but bedtime came soon enough.

Our home for the evening:
Even thought it's about 25 years old and we were concerned about its capability in the rain, we survived the mist and dew. I wouldn't trust it in an actual rainfall, though. The anarchists:

On the shoreline
The kids and the dog had a blast. We found out that Cooper fetches underwater. He thinks he comes back with the rock we threw, but it's highly unlikely.

Camp mascots
To keep the kids busy while I got the fire started for breakfast, Liz had them make camp mascots. She brought some googly eyes and glue and had them make faces out of rocks they found at the campsite. I was shocked at how prepared she was for this.
Oh, and the mascots made it home.

Morning at the campsite
I tried to get both of them to do this, but Andrew was having nothing of it. I should have been less subtle, but then he would have just stared at the camera the whole time.
