Matthew at the park (we do that a lot these days)

I just realized something

I never posted any of our Easter pictures.

Matthew's outfit actually had pants with it, but they didn't fit, so we tossed him into some old jeans. What are you going to do?

The last couple years, Liz has made a Greek Easter Bread for our dinner. This year's was particularly pretty.

Our last night in TN

On our last night in Tennessee, I had plugged my camera into the television to do a quick review of my images. Andrew loves this. When I do this I can shoot in what is called a "tethered" system - ie my images show up on the screen immediately after firing the shutter. This gives him ample opportunity to practice his poses so he can get the goofiest ones possible.

Fayetteville, TN

This is where Andrew and my dad had the most fun. Andrew was my dad's shadow for the entire day! I think they both had a blast.

Whenever we stopped for a moment and he didn't want to take pictures, Andrew spent his time tossing stones.

He climbed this dogwood tree at the city hall because he saw me do it for this shot in this series.

More from Joe Wheeler

Sorry for the interlude. I took a bunch of photos at the state park while we were in Alabama. Same day, second photo post.

What else would you do when you are near a body of water?

Trip log to resume shortly

Apologies, but these last couple days I haven't really been feeling well. I'm starting to come down with a little bug and have been exhausted at night. As a matter of fact, I crashed on the couch the other night and didnt' wake up until 15 minutes before my alarm was set to go off.

Anyway, here's a shot of Andrew taken by my dad during our trek to TN. You'll notice that this was the set-up for two shots I published in the previous post (#10 and #11). Dad set this up, I took it from the side, and Andrew made dad take the same position so he could take the shot.

(Shhh. Don't tell anyone I posted this from work!)

Joe Wheeler

After wandering Lawrenceburg for a little while, we got in the car and drove around the area, exploring. We ended up at Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville, AL where we spend the early afternoon romping and playing.

This shot was taken by Andrew with my camera after my dad took the same one of him:
